It’s time to get the weekend ragin’! You know it, you love it, and you damn near crapped your pants to it. Here’s an epic fan favorite from the masters of Circus Records, Flux Pavilion and Doctor P. DJ Fresh has a habit of making songs that can be remixed into amazing tracks, while Flux and Doctor P have a habit of delivering the final project. It’s Friday night and we’re gonna start it loud as hell. Crank this bad boy to 11 and throw on your neon, baby.

Here we are with another remix competition entry; though you would never guess this wasn’t a professional. “Sail” already has a solid flow to it to begin with but the way that Omega crafts in the dubstep elements will both take you by surprise and seem like they should have been there in the first place. Without a doubt, this is one of the top drops that I have heard all year for sure. These bass lines are nothing short of distortion haven either. No download link right now but if you like what you hear go vote for Omega’s remix in the AWOLNATION remix contest and we will have a DL as soon as it’s done dominating the competition.
Here’s a solid party mix from a good buddy of mine, DJ Millz. Layin’ down sets (and occasionally verses) from house parties to Camp Kiwi in New York, this guy is sure to get the cups flying and the bodies movin’. Busting on the DJ scene last year starting with small gigs like anyone else, Millz and his party sets have been rising in notoriety in the past months. Here’s a small sample of what to expect at a DJ Millz dancefloor. Nothin’ but feel good vibes here, enjoy and be sure to check the Soundcloud for more soon!
I don’t even know how to classify this thing. This remix bangs dubstep, electro, and house sounds all into one ear-bleeding remix of a clean-cut Porter track. Don’t get me wrong, Spitfire is a great EP for what it’s good at: Electro/House revival. However, this little number from Knife Party redefines one of the EP’s hallmark tracks into serving a whole new purpose: melting your god damned face off. It takes a little over a minute to get to the drop but, by the time it arrives, you’ll be taken with a surprise right hook to the ear from the sheer brutality. OWSLA-endorsed Knife Party is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Make sure to keep an eye out for mor from these mammoths of the ‘step.
Again it appears that bits and pieces of what we should expect from the forthcoming LP are being dripped into the internet. Seems like another unreleased project from Skrillex has managed to sneak itself out yet again (remember the quick post and takedown of “Right Here”). It seems like he is beginning to delve more and more into the dance groove/moombahton side, but still maintains his signature dirty bass drops. Used to have an extended loop edit by PockX that has been circulating Soundcloud this past week (ironically more than the original) but it appears to have been taken down. I still included the download link for the extended below so grab it now while you can – because who knows if this one will be taken down as quickly as the last!
Welcome to Friday part 2, also known as Saturday. Wether you’re going out to the clubs are hanging in with friends, this mix is sure to throw your night into full throttle. Showcasing some serious mixing proficiencies, this sub-bumper from Chicago’s DJBrianS will have everyone singing along and hyped up for the night. Hold em’ high and get ready for the weekend, baby. Cheers.
Kickstart your weekend with this raging electro house remix from Tom Deluxx. As if the original “OMG” wasn’t enough, this kicks it up a notch with sounds busting through your ears similar to Steve Aoki’s signature groove. As soon as I heard this again I knew I had to put it up. Nothing here but hard-hitting, chest-pumping, pure adrenaline coming right from your speakers – enjoy.
